A Destiny only known to the Heavens...
Grave Matters is about a 16 year old girl who has the gift to bring the dead back to life, speak to the dead, and some other gifts she will soon discover. Her life has been very traumatic, including her parents getting into a car crash, her sister Willow was brutally murdered, and having to live with her motorcycle chick aunt Harley Chopper, and cousin Avalon Chopper. She discovers one of her gifts when she brings her cat Zombie back to life after being hit by a car.
Draven Grim
The main character of the story, Draven is a 16 year old who attends Willow Grove High where she is considered the outsider to many. Her unique, gothic, and grim appearance gives her an air of gloom. She can reanimate the dead and still has a few undiscovered gifts.
Damien Reaper
Damien appears to Draven in her dreams after she reanimates her pet, Zombie. He seeks to protect Draven and guide her as she discovers her gifts.
Harley Chopper
Harley is Draven's Aunt. She loves riding her motorcycle, hamburgers and Hurley Davidson. She is a member of a local motorcycle gang and tries to protect her daughter Avalon and Draven from danger.
Avalon Chopper
Avalon is a tomboy who follows her mothers example, and is trying her best to fit into school like any other teen.
Willow Grim
Draven's undead sister was brought back to life after her own funeral where Draven was testing her gift to see if she could really bring back the dead, or if Zombie was just lucky. Willow was one of Jake Stubb's unlucky brides who eventually gets her revenge on Jake in the end. She is Draven's only "living" family currently.
Zombie Grim
Draven's cat Zombie was run over and killed. (Seen in the Grave Matters Intro) Driven by grief, Draven reaches out to pick up Zombie to bury her but as fate would have it, Draven's touch revives Zombie in a bright flash of light returning Zombie to normal. Zombie is a fun loving little cat but has a slight attitude :3
Zero Sampson
Draven met Zero one week before her birthday which lead to much happiness for Draven. Zero is kind and an all around good guy. He enjoys art and nature and loves to have a good time. He also likes seeing movies with Draven and just hanging out like anyone else.
Ivy Hemlock
Ivy is quiet and shy. She is loyal to her family and friends.
